A one-day Capacity Building Programme on Training Students and Mentors for Startup & Innovation Ecosystem was organized by the Innovation Club, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG), Ahmedabad on 22 July 2026. Dr. Navita
VinodKumar Sharma represented R. J. Tibrewal Commerce College as the faculty mentor, along with student representatives Nikita Lakhatariya and Krisha Chotaliya (T.Y. B. Com, Semester 5). The programme focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, startup development, and mentor capacity building.
2025-26
13th January 2026: An orientation program was organised for more than 50 students to create awareness about the importance of new challenges and solution to them. They were introduced to the innovation club kit and its application. The idea was to help them understand changes in the field, their impact and solution to them.
13th-14th February, 2026: An interesting and unique field visit was planned for four students at The Innovation Village, L.J. University where engineering students exhibited their talent and our students had the opportunity to learn about latest technological developments.
16th February 2026: A debate competition was organised where nearly 12 students took part in the competition and shared their views on Idea, Creativity and Innovation. Winners were awarded.
17 April 2026: An interactive session was led by Dr. Deval Jilariya and Dr. Paresh Gajjar on “Problem Identification and Solving”. They discussed the different issues related with usage of ‘Artificial Intelligence’. Many AI tools were discussed during the session, in particular, the tools used in Education.
