Principal Shri B. M. Peerzada sir

Former Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, sir was an active participant in the Mahagujarat Andolan 1956 and the Navnirman Andolan 1974. In the 80s he was Member of the Gujarat Planning Commission. He was the main force behind the introduction 'Dummy number' system at the Gujarat University bringing confidentiality to the examinee identify and promoting sanctity of examinations. At the college level, sir introduced the system of Two Sets of question papers which not only created a question bank for students but discouraged unlawful practices in the examination hall. His vision of providing quality education to all classes of the society saw fruition in the educational institutes set up under the L. J. Trust.

Dr. Shah is an academician to the core. He has an experience over 30 years in this field, both as an educator and in management. His experience of teaching has worked to develop an understanding of the evolving needs of students. Under the guidance and support of Peerzada sir, he is the driving force behind the L. J. University. His commitment to the vision of Shri. B. M. Peerzada sir is reflected in how L. J University holds an enviable reputation in almost all fields of education.
